Omron carries an array of safety switches designed to work together with hinged, sliding, or lift-off guards and barriers; when the guard is opened, the power supply to the machine is disconnected.  They offer both compact and non-compact rope pull safety interlock switches for mounting widths as small as 40 mm, rated to IP67 (NEMA6), and rope spans up to 200 m. Guard door locking safety switches are also available.

Euchner-USA offers safety switches in both design type 1 with integrated actuator, and type 2, with separate actuator. Type 1 safety switch options include the NM Series, which is plastic with two narrow body designs, up to three contacts, and six different actuator heads. Type 2 safety switches are differentiated by those with locking and those without.

Allen-Bradley offers interlock, trapped key, and safety limit safety switches. The interlock switches come in tongue interlock, guard locking, non-contact, and hinge configurations, and offer different options on how the switch can be operated and mounted on the guard. Safety limit switches are available in two styles: IEC or NEMA.

Allied Electronics sells safety switches from a long list of manufacturers, including STI, Microswitch, Banner Engineering, Hermetic Switch, and Omron. Products come in an assortment of contact forms, from 1 NC/NO to 2NC/1NO BBM; various voltage and current ratings; mounting types such as DIN rail, door, and panel; and termination options like cable, M16 + NPT adapter, M20 + NPT adapter, and screw. Many switches also come IP66 or IP67 rated, and RoHS compliant.

EE Controls specializes in safety interlock switches, rope pull switches, and other machine safety switches to protect personnel from hazardous machinery. Interlock switches are available with NEMA 4- or 12-rated thermoplastic bodies with door-holding force ratings of 2, 7, or 22 lbs., or with metal bodies with up to 23 lbs. of holding force.

Schmersal offers a full line of point of operation machine guarding products, such as keyed interlock switches, hinged interlock switches, and safety-rated limit switches. Safety-rated limit switches include the Z/T235, which is available with a choice of six standard actuators that are mountable in any of four 90-degree positions, and the Z332, which is housed in rugged metal and IP65 rated.

Microprecision Electronics offers Series MP800 limit and safety switches, with metal or plastic housing and IP65/66 rating, for use in safety circuits in compliance with IEC 60 947-5-1. These switches come in 30, 40, or 50 mm case widths, and offer a mechanical life up to 30 million operations and switching frequency of 3,600 operations per hour. The switching block is available as either snap-action (1NO/1NC or 2NC), slow action non-overlapping (1NO/1NC, 2NO/1NC, or 1NO/2NC), overlapping (1NO/1NC), basic (2NC), or simultaneous (3NC).
